Luke Humphries defeated Luke Littler in the final to claim the £275,000 winner's prize, getting his revenge after losing to the same opponent 12 months ago.
The world No 1 showed why he remains at the top of the rankings by beating the tournament favourite 11-8.
Littler, who was seeking to retain his Premier League crown for the second consecutive year, had to settle for the runner-up prize of £125,000.

Another audience member simply couldn't stomach paying the extortionate prices and opted for a much cheaper alternative.
"£9.50 for a pint of BUDWEISER at the o2 tonight. Turned back round and chugged my water," the X user wrote.
